We've learned that we can best satisfy our customers by getting to know you, your project,
and your needs. Given this approach, we can recommend the gear that will work best for you.

And, we're honest. If we don't have what you need, we're well connected and can recommend other vendors
that can do the job or can supplement what we have.

By understanding your total project needs, we can put rental packages together that get the
job done and give you significant package discounts. We also let you try out the gear (at or near our
office) to let you make sure it will work for you at no charge.

Rest assured, we price competively and will work with you to price-match or go one better (if
we can).

We're also a production company and we use the gear regularly and know it well. If you need training or
recommendations to get the most out of the gear, we're available and stand behind the
gear by being "on-call" during your production.

Cameras:

Panasonic AF100

Panasonic's new Micro-Four-Thirds camera. Has excellent depth of field that you
would expect from a large format sensor. OTM has adapters for Nikon (Zeiss)
C-mount, and (ARRI) PL mount glass. We have an excellent selection of Panasonic Lumix ( 14-140mm)
as well as wide-angle 7-14mm. Our Zeiss Distagon lenses work well with this camera.
The camera records on to SDHC cards (we have 6 16Gig SDHC cards) in AVCHD
format. A great camera that gets better results than DSLR cameras and has all the
video camera features you would expect. Can be monitored in HD-SDI or HDMI.

The AF100 does very well in low-light situations (given the appropriate glass speed).
The AF100 is becoming very popular in the digital cinema world and several feature
films have been released or are in production using this camera. We highly recommend
them as a replacement for "A" cameras in DSLR camera shoots.

The AF100 can run approx. 3 hours on two 16GB SDHC cards recording to AVCHD
format. You also have the option of using a HD/SDI recorder (such as the NanoFlash)
for higher bitrate and colormodel recording.

The camera can record two audio channels at mic or line level. There are two on-board
mics (which we don't recommend using).

We have two of these cameras to rent and they make a good pair. Timecode
can be synched via an RCA cable or to TC lines using a BNC cable and
a BNC to RCA adapter (included).

Battery life is excellent and we have two batteries per camera.

If you're shooting with the Canon 5D,7D, you should definitely check out the
AF100.

If you want use your or our Canon EOS glass on the AF100, we have the Redrock EOS to MFT adapter

Panasonic HVX300

Panasonic's 1/3" 3MOS camera is an excellent ENG style camera
and records in AVCINTRA100 format full 1080p. The Fujinon lense
features excellent tactil rocker zoom and auto iris controls. The HVX300
has TC and GENLOCK sync lines for broadcast work. We have two of
these cameras and they make a great pair.

One has the Lectrosonics SR-a dual-channel wireless reciever (with
two transmitters and lav mics).

The camera is capable of recording four channels of simultaneous audio.

One of our cameras is fitted with a Zacutto rail mount and can be equipped
with our (optional) Zacutto focus-pull and matte-box assembly.

Each camera comes with two IDX Endura batteries. The camera has excellent
battery life and two Enduras will take you through an entire day's shoot easily.

The HPX300 ( due to it's 1/3" sensor ) is not a low-lite camera. However, given
the appropriate light levels, the camera produces excellent 1080p images and
the Panasonic AVCIntra100 codec is excellent.

For monitoring we have two Datavideo HD/SDI to HDMI converters to allow you
to monitor on a variety of LCDs.

We have 64Gig of P2 media per camera as well as a Panasonic P2 USB card
reader (for off-load).

Canon 5D MK II

The camera that started the DSLR video revolution! The 5D MKII is a full frame 35mm sensor
capable of stunning images and excellent depth of field and low-light sensitivity.

We have a stereo Rode Mic for audio recording ( and we recommend that you do not use the on-board
microphones).

The camera records to CF cards ( we have 6 16gb CF cards).

We have two of these cameras and they make an excellent pair. The lens is the stock 24-105mm
Canon lens, however, we have Nikon adapters for our Zeiss glass.

Canon 7D

RED Scarlet-X (PL and Canon) .. coming soon

Watch for the arrival or our Scarlet-X Ti Camera with PL and Canon EOS adapters.

Field Recording and Timecode

Sound Devices MixPre

A recording studio quality micpre featuring Lundhall transformers and a great limiter design
that makes clipping the audio nearly impossible. Great battery life and a very low S/N ratio.

Excellent headphone monitoring for your recordist.
Has two pre-amps (for two booms) with panning and mixing level controls.

Stereo links are switchable to preserve stereo imaging.

PSC M4 (4-channel) Field Mixer

The venerable PSC M4 is a favorite for reality TV production. 4 mic inputs
with both T and 48volt phantom power down mixes to a stereo output.

Uses AA batteries.

Tascam HD2 Field Recorder

Excellent and full-featured two-channel field recorder supporting sample
rates up to 192kHz. Able to sync to both WordClock and LTC lines, the
HD2 field recorder will produce sample aligned and time-coded broadcast wave
files. Excellent ADC converters and good battery life.

Both the MIXPRE and the HD2 fit into a convenient shoulder bag
for your recordist.

We also have two Sennheiser noise-isolated headphones for monitoring.

Zoom H4N

An excellent small field recorder that can record up to 4 channels of audio (on-board
mics and two inputs ( line or mic level). Good battery life and the onboard mics sound
surprisingly good.

Writes to an SDHC card and can record up to 192kHz/24bit. Battery life is shortened if
phantom power is provided to condenser microphones.

We have two of these units, plus a Zacuto Z-shoe to allow the H4N to be mounted on the
shoe mount of the Canon 5D.

Please note the H4N does not record in broadcast wave format and cannot be sync'd
to timecode or external work clocks.

Rode NTG-3 Shotgun mic with boom, windshield and dead-cat

The NTG-3 is a highly-durable boom mic with sonic characteristics very similar
to the Senn 416 .. . but .. it's waterproof .. so it won't "zap out" in high humidity ..
which is why certain shows set in lost islands used them.

Sennheiser 416 Shotgun Mic

One of the workhorses of the industry, the venerable Sennheiser 416.
'Nuff said .

Rode Blimp System

Similar to the Rycote blimp system, but with better ergonomics. Will
work with either the Sennheiser 416 or the Rode NTG-3. Excellent in windy
conditions and comes with a "dead wombat" fur cover.

Sennheiser G3 Wireless Lav and "Plug" XLR

Great sounding wireless lav and XLR adapter from Sennheiser.
Very low noise. We have three sets of these in the "G" frequency block.

Rode SVM Stereo On-Camera Mic

Mates to the Canon 5D MKIII and gets and excellent X/Y stereo image from an on-camera
microphone.

Denecke SB-3 Timecode Generator

The super-stable SB-3 supports jam-syncing to a LTC line (1/8") and produces both TC lines (for our HPX300 and
AF100 cameras) as well as Wordclock lines for our Tascam field recorder. Say "goodbye" to mis-matched drop-frame
audio recording and timecode slips.

Movie Slate and the Apple iPad2

Movie Slate is an iPad/iPhone application and is a full-feature digital slate complete with timecode sync.

Combined with our Denecke SB-3, Master Slate can communicate a LTC timecode signal over its
headphone output to both the SB-3 and the Tascam HD2 field recorder.

Even cooler, you can email yourself the entire take log for the day and import it into
many popular NLE's (such as final cut pro). A huge time saver

IPad2 rental is included with Movie Slate.
